Quinoa
The Mother of All Grains
Quinoa, called the “mother of all grains” by the Incas, was cultivated over 5,000 years ago. Quinoa is considered a so-called pseudo-cereal.
Purella’s tricolor quinoa comes from organic farms in Peru. No pesticides are used in its cultivation. Quinoa is naturally gluten-free and suitable for vegans.

Discover quinoa
Quinoa is a source of protein that helps maintain muscle mass and healthy bones. This product contains no salt and is also a source of dietary fiber. Tricolor quinoa is an excellent alternative to rice or potatoes (so popular in Poland) and a gluten-free substitute for gluten-containing grains.
Quinoa in your diet
Quinoa’s subtle nutty flavor pairs well with many dishes. You can eat it instead of couscous, rice, or bulgur. You can also use quinoa to make a vegetable salad or a morning porridge. You can bake it, make chocolate cream, or bake cookies with it. Before cooking, rinse the grains under water to remove the bitter saponins.
